UNDERSTANDING WHITENING
Tooth colour and whitening goals differ from person to person. We assess discolouration, teeth and gums before discussing in-office or dentist-guided home whitening, treatment frequency and sensitivity.
Natural shade, medicines taken during tooth development, ageing, trauma and previous root canal treatment may affect colour.
We also discuss habits such as smoking and consumption of coffee, tea, wine and other staining foods and drinks.

We assess your current shade and the change you would like
before planning the method, sessions and ongoing care.

TWO WAYS TO A BRIGHTER SMILE
From treatment in the clinic to dentist-guided care at home.
We explain how each option works and the precautions to follow.
After assessing your mouth and protecting the lips and gums, we apply a whitening agent. The products and treatment plan determine the steps and sessions required.
You use the prescribed device and whitening agent at home after instructions from the clinic. Follow the recommended wear time and treatment period, with progress checks as needed.
Temporary tooth sensitivity or gum irritation may occur. Whitening results and their duration vary. Existing restorations may not change colour in the same way as natural teeth.
PATIENT STORIES
Patients share their experiences
of attentive care and clear communication.
“As a university hospital employee, I have received thorough hand scaling and dental care from hospital dentists. After reading about the director’s background, I felt confident visiting. The director and staff were all very kind and provided excellent care.”
“They gave me an anaesthetic mouth rinse before scaling and asked me to raise my hand if it hurt, so they could make it more comfortable. I appreciated how carefully they did the scaling and checked my teeth.”
“The staff were so kind and the clinic was very clean! I came for teeth whitening and was very happy with my visit. I would come back for other dental care.”

Listening comes first. We take time to explain the care you need before treatment begins.
QUESTIONS BEFORE WHITENING
We first assess the cause of sensitivity and the condition of your teeth and gums. Tell us about symptoms and previous treatment. We explain suitability and any precautions after examination.
It depends on your natural shade, the cause of discolouration and the method used. We discuss expected changes and the likely sessions after examination.
Whitening aims to improve tooth colour. MINISH is restorative treatment that also considers damage, shape and bite. The appropriate approach depends on the cause of your concern and examination findings. Explore MINISH ↗
